In this podcast led by Nicole Seredenko thought leader (and member of the Gen Z cohort) from Netbase Quid learn how you can use advanced competitive intelligence and expand the possibilities of how your organization can leverage textual data. Using NLP and analytical strategies with social channel data offers a 24-hour focus group with this cohort to garner insights on everything from traveling preferences to specific product launch reactions. Amidst a sea of new research on this cohort, what cuts to the core of this generation's unique lifestyle habits and, ultimately, purchasing habits? Compelling insights and continual monitoring can be developed by leveraging textual data at scale, especially from niche and mainstream social channels. The only things that I don’t really care for are that the forecast doesn’t simply show high and low temps and the “hourly” is only broken down to 3-hour intervals, and that the map doesn’t show frontal boundaries, but you can look at the pressure, wind and temperature maps and figure out where those are. With Generation Z rising in the workforce and in purchasing power, understanding their attitudes and values has become a priority for Fortune 500 companies across sectors. Windy is the best one I’ve found where you can see wind, temp, fog, cloud cover, humidity, dew point, pressure, etc., just about anything you could need. Speaking of Windy, have you used it? Being that you’re a pilot, I’m assuming that you like to look at a lot more detailed weather data than just the basic forecast and radar. Since they’ve killed the app I’ve just been going to the Intellicast website on my phone, but now they’ve fucked that up too for me. I’ve tried every other weather app there is since then and none stack up to what Storm was, except for maybe Windy.

Their app (Storm) was the absolute best and I was so pissed when they killed it last year. Intellicast has been my sole weather source for years now.
